Indian Visa Application Centre in Beijing is being shifted to a new location

The current Visa Application Centre in Beijing is being shifted to a new location w.e.f Monday, 18th July, 2016. In view of technical problems at the current IVAC, it has been decided to deliver visa services for private passports also from the Chancery premises from today till Friday (13-15 July) and if required during the beginning of next week when transition to the new Centre takes place.
It is requested that Ms. Lu Hongmei, local Assistant in the T & C Wing, who has experience in visa work, may be deployed at the Visa Section from today afternoon till Wednesday, 20th July, 2016.

2. During the period from 13.07.2016 to 15.07.2016, all visa applicants (including Private Passport holders) are requested to submit their visa applications directly in the Embassy at No. 5, LiangmaqiaoBeiJie, Chaoyang District, Beijing, from 11.00 AM to 01.00 PM and again from 2.00 PM to 04.00 PM.

Opening of Application centre
2013-04-26 10:36:19The India Visa Application Center, Beijing will accept visa applications in respect of ordinary passport holders from 18 March 2013. Applications submitted before 15 March 2013 may be directly collected from Embassy of India, Beijing on all working days from 1530 hrs – 1700 hrs.
Surrogacy Arrangement
2013-04-26 10:35:32Any person seeking a visa to India for purpose of entering into a surrogacy arrangement must ascertain beforehand whether the law of Republic of India permits surrogacy and will provide appropriate travel documents to the child for accompanying the surrogate parents. Entering into surrogacy arrangement under any other visa not sought for surrogacy is punishable under the Indian law.
Gap of at least 2 months between two visits, Tourist Visa
2013-04-26 10:26:27There should be a gap of at least 2 months between two visits to India on a Tourist Visa on re-entry of nationals of Afghanistan, China, Iran, Pakistan, Iraq, Sudan, foreigners of Pakistan origin and Stateless persons.
